Romeo and Juliet was written in the late 1500’s, but it does not take place during that time period. The play takes place in the 1300’s it has a few situations that don 't make sense in our time or in Shakespeare’s time. An example of a situation is Paris who is thirty wants to marry Juliet who is only thirteen. In the 1300’s that is normal but, at this time of age it’s not right. William Shakespeare married an older woman which, might of have caused his way of thinking while writing Romeo and Juliet.

Romeo then gets into a rage and pulls out his sword and kills Tybalt. After the scene, Romeo flees from the bloody battle scene. The Prince Escalus arrives the murder scene and he declares to banish Romeo from Verona for life.
The nurse tells Juliet about the tragedy between Tybalt and Romeo. Juliet can’t believe it and she realizes that Tybalt wanted to murder her husband. Juliet tells the nurse to go out and look for Romeo and give him the wedding ring. Later that night, Romeo secretly goes into Juliets room and makes love with Juliet. The next morning Juliet’s mother walks in the room and tells him to leave. Romeo then leaves Verona and goes into a town called Mantua in where he waited for any news.
That was the first night Romeo and Juliet were together ever since they met at the costume party. Juliet’s father, Lord Capulet decided that she should marry a young man named Paris. her father doesn 't know that she married Romeo. If he would 've known he would be very upset with Juliet. Juliet’s parents tell her when they arranged her wedding. Juliet refuses to get married and her parents get angry at her. Lady Capulet wants to go talk to Juliet, but the nurse tells her to leave Juliet …show more content…

The Friar gives Juliet a potion that makes her seem dead for about two days. The two days will give Romeo enough time to visit her in the Capulet vault. The Friar told her that he promises he will notify Romeo about the plan for them to meet up.
Juliet then goes home and drinks the potion that the Friar gave her to drink. She drank it that night because the next morning was her arranged wedding with Paris in which she didn 't want to go to. The nurse walks into her room and she realizes she is dead. The whole Capulet household saddens on her suicide. Friar Laurence comes and tells the Capulets to put her into the vault as soon as possible.
Friar John was suppose to give Romeo the letter which told him the plan Friar Laurence and Juliet came up with. Friar John was unable to deliver it to Romeo so he had no idea about the plan. Romeo’s servant then telling Romeo that Juliet has passed away, he was deeply upset. Romeo then goes back into Verona and the first thing he does is got buy poison from an Apothecary. He then writes a suicide note talking about his tragic events he went
