Several overweight and obese women have tried to lose weight unsuccessfully because of having medical issues such as weight gain and stress. She should have included the age groups whom she wanted to target. Examples might include middle to upper class women based on age, lifestyle, and income. Ali has created the framework of the strong customer segment, especially women, where she will be able to ask questions them about past medical and food history related to weight loss. I believe she will create a weight loss plan for women to eat 5-6 meals every day and check weight in’s which can be tailored to improve a healthy lifestyle. She is willing to help women not to get into the cycle of weight loss failures. It is important to develop a relationship with your customer by offering what their needs are in order to become successful. The top three sounds realistic for women who are not satisfied about their weight and body image. One key that Ali identified was the fad diet where women quickly lose weight by skipping meals and not doing exercise. She mentions that following a fad diet can lead health consequences which affect the customer to create new healthy habits. A second point is that she talked about women who busy cooking more healthy meals that contain more nutrients without any added fats in their diet. Women are finding more time to cook, prepare their favorite meals, and clean up their mess, which is considered to be the biggest problem in the business model.
