My Dad Taught Me Analysis

Paragraph 1: Out of the many people who teach me in life, my dad has influenced me the most. He has taught me much, has helped me when I have had trouble, and is always there for me. One of the areas in which my dad helps me is in difficult subjects such as math. The different types of equations and formulas in math sometimes confuse me. When my dad notices my confusion, he and I come up with a plan to resolve the problem before the next assessment. When I perform well on the next assessment, I realize that he has not just helped me to do well but has made me appreciate what I have learned. At my school, I worked at a gingerbread making fund by helping out people with their gingerbread houses and handing out candy. Even though I was one of the youngest helpers there, I made sure that our candy table had enough of every candy to please everyone. It was a very big job even though it didn’t seem to be. I had to take on a big responsibility to make sure that everyone enjoyed the decorating so they wouldn’t have not gotten what they paid for. It was hard work lugging candy from table to table. The icing was probably the hardest of all since it was hard to refill the cups and tubes. It was very significant to me because I could actually see people being helped out and happy for us helping them out. Just by doing simple acts of help and even putting on a smile made people feel better and happy. Not just in the faces of kids, but in the adults too. At first, many adults looked upset because their kids were complaining or fighting about something with their houses. When being able to step in and see the happy, relieved look on their faces made me feel a lot better that no matter what I can do something to help out my community. I would definitely like to do something like this
