“ The Use of Emergency Contraception”

As Aristotle once said “The ideal man bears the accidents of life with dignity and grace, making the best of circumstances.” Since the beginning of time humans have been prone to accidents and making mistakes. Which makes it only human nature and common sense to try to correct the mistakes and accidents as soon as it happens. Emergency Contraceptives, such as plan B, are there to set people at ease and to diminish panic after accidents such as condoms breaking or having unprotected sex. But, many religious groups do not view Emergency Contraceptives in that way. They see it as terminating a pregnancy and even a life. But, what these religious groups fail to realize is that Emergency Contraceptives, such as Plan B, do not terminate pregnancy, they actually in fact prevent the act of pregnancy from even occurring.
It is almost common sense to believe that conception occurs when the sperm and egg join together. But, is it also common sense to believe that life begins at that point? Emergency Contraception, such as Plan B , does not in fact terminate any sort of pregnancy , it prevents it from happening. So, therefore there is no reason to believe that Emergency Contraception is terminating any sort of life. Pregnancy doesn't happen right after sex. That's why it's possible to prevent pregnancy even after the fact. It can take up to six days for the sperm and egg to meet after having sex. Emergency contraception pills work by keeping a woman's ovary from releasing an egg for longer than usual. It is also possible that this type of emergency birth control prevents implantation of a fertilized egg in the uterus by altering its lining. [" The Morning-After Pill.
