Success is the accomplishment of any goals a person has set for themselves. This term is used to describe one’s triumphs and riches in life. Successes origin is from the latin term succesus and the verb succedere meaning “come close after”. Although there are various types of success, what it is not is failure, for one to fail yet succeed is not possible.Everyone has a different interpretation of the meaning success. Some believe to be successful you must be well known or famous while others say anyone can be successful in anything imaginable.
When success is thought of it usually has to do with being wealthy and well known to many. For example Beyonce` is a success story in which most Americans know all too well. She was a country girl from Houston,Texas who could sing like Whitney Houston. Once she was discovered she joined in a couple of girl groups but decided a solo career was more beneficial to her. The famous quote “ The key to success is hard work and determination.” seems overrated but it is actually an accurate interpretation of success because success is not handed to anyone, everyone must work for it and put in everything they have. A personal success story would be getting over my fear of performing. When i was younger I was on a step team and we got invited to do a performance at a high school. The moment I heard of the performance I had all these thought running through my mind about how I could possibly fall or mess up the entire routine. Yet when it came down to the performance my team and I were excellent and were asked to perform at a couple of more places.
