The Story of My Life

There she stands, five feet and four inches tall, attending the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Never did she imagine that time could pass as quickly as it did. She remembers graduating from the Hellenic American Academy as a sixth grader as if it was yesterday. She visualizes the photograph taken with her friend and her best friend, noticing her shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes in her white dress and cap. Then, just two years later, the same girl graduates from Ste Jeanne d’Arc School. She wore only one glove with her gold cap and gown because she wore a blue cast on her other hand. A few weeks before her graduation she fractured her wrist during a Lowell travel soccer game against Wilmington; a Wilmington player pushed her down, causing her to fall backward on her right wrist. Due to the fact that she did not attend Ste Jeanne d’Arc since the fourth grade, she could not receive the notable academic awards, such as Miss Junior High.
