Executive Summary
VVVF drives used to control the speed of LIM, many industrial automation worldwide such as Trains drives, Automatic Screen Door, Moving Walkway, Lift and Escalator, etc., varying the speed of the drive may save energy compared with other techniques for flow control.

This mid-term report prepared for detailing how to design and build the structure of LabVIEW simulation for speed control of Linear induction motor and explaining the characteristic of V/F Speed control for Induction motor obtain the data by LabVIEW.

The design and build of simulation has two parts, part one is simulation of LED indicator for motor speed recognize and part 2 is simulation of V/F speed control of Linear induction motor. Firstly, design a control function in front panel of LabVIEW, it use for a control system interface and show the LED indicator for speed control of frequency variable. Secondly, build up a simulation module of the block panel, which function on the palette indicate the frequency calculations. After set the value of the frequency by turning the “Frequency Variable” knob, the value will be sent to the Logics used. It is a human machine interfaces design software that is user friendly.

Artificial Neural Network Based Rotor Reactance Control Essay

- Abstract: Problem statement: The Rotor reactance control by inclusion of external capacitance in the rotor circuit has been in recent research for improving the performances of Wound Rotor Induction Motor (WRIM). The rotor capacitive reactance is adjusted such that for any desired load torque the efficiency of the WRIM is maximized. The rotor external capacitance can be controlled using dynamic capacitor in which the duty ratio is varied for emulating the capacitance value. This study presents a novel technique for tracking maximum efficiency point in the entire operating range of WRIM using Artificial Neural Network (ANN)....   [tags: Engineering]

Learning And Motor Control Course Essay

- Throughout this motor learning and motor control course I have learned so much. I can honestly say that with everything I have learned I will be able to put to use in my life and coaching career. A lot of what I learned was terms that dealt with the body and how it moves like motor learning, control, development, learning, skills, abilities, error, retention, and so much more. Motor learning involves the study of the acquisition of motor skills and motor control is the study of how the neuromuscular system function to enable coordinated movement....   [tags: Learning, Skill, Motor control, Psychology]

The Effects Of Fine Motor Control With Parkinson 's Disease Essay

- Literature Review Assignment Problem Definition People living with Parkinson’s disease face a decline in fine motor control due to weakness in muscle mass, decreased strength and coordination, finger dexterity, and deterioration of the central nervous system (Seidler et al., 2010). The importance of hand manipulation becomes apparent when fine motor control decreases, inhibiting participation in activities of daily living (ADLs). This reduction in hand function reduces an individual’s quality of life, which further decreases his/her independence (Raethjen et al., 2005)....   [tags: Motor control, Motor skills, Hand]

The Importance Of Mastering Fine Motor Skills Essay examples

- Mastering fine motor skills is a very important process needed for physical and cognitive development. It is during early childhood that most children develop these skills, however there are many children that do not. A young child’s fine motor skills are developed through a vast array of activities that aide the child in doing little things such as grasping a toy as an infant, and buttoning buttons as a toddler or tying shoes when they are a preschooler. Fine motor development is the development of the small muscles in the hands and fingers....   [tags: Motor control, Motor skill, Motor skills, Hand]

Strategy Implementation And Control Of Ford Motor Company Essay

- Strategy Implementation and Control Strategy implementation involves establishing programs and tactics to create a series of new organizational activities, budgets to allocate funds to the new activities, and procedures to handle the day-to-day details (Wheelen, Hunger, Hoffman, & Bamford, 2015). Essentially, after a company determines the direction of their program, it is the how that particular direction will be accomplished. It also answers the question of what resources must be moved or sold to meet the allocated budget....   [tags: Ford Motor Company, Automotive industry]
