She 's cold and fierce

Fear and frustration filled my mind as I desperately tried to stay afloat, cold waves crashing on top of me, sluicing me further and further away from the sanctuary of land. With half of my body frozen I feebly tried to swim against the tide with little success but with every kick, I could feel a sharp piercing pain on my left leg. With the steady and agonising lapse of time synchronised with my sense of ever increasing woe, the weight of the water weighing me down felt worse than it most likely physically was. My chest caved in and my lungs felt empty. Gasping for air, I could see the beach receding in the distance. The more I fought against the waves the more I was dragged to the deep sea. I tried to relieve it with a kick which only resulted in an increase in pain. Everything had happened so quickly and in mind, it was an incomprehensible event. With a pathetic struggle, I tried to stay afloat, not noticing that I had traveled out to sea. In the distance, I could make out a few figures on the beach. Desperately gasping for air while trying to stay afloat, I yelled out for help hoping that one of those specks of figures would hear.

Out of nowhere I heard a deep voice yelling out, "Hey kid!" My vision was blurry; I turned my head left and right to see where the voice was coming from. I spotted a small white boat coming towards me. Relief instantly surged through me. Filled with a rush of energy, I tried to fight against the tide with all my remaining strength but halted in complete exhaustion after only moving a metre of so. Breathless, somehow I spurted a desperate help then sunk, totally overcome by pain and exhaustion. All the sudden I felt strong hairy arms slither around me. They pulled me up to where a small old rusty boat was waiting.
