Reflective Introduction
During my semester in English 101 I have learned many things such as how to be literate, how to analyze and synthesize materials as well as how to acknowledge my strengths and weaknesses while writing. Since I’ve became aware of what I need to focus more on while writing and reading I feel like it has made me more sufficient in my assignments. Some strengths I can identify in my own writing is that I am good at making sure that I give the reader a handful of visual aid while reading. I make sure to give them the most descriptive setting while still not giving the story away. I also believe that I do a good job at lead up to the actual buildup of the story. I would end the story abrupt or my conclusion overall would be weak and would lose the reader attention. A way I would set about to improve this in the future would be to take my time while typing and use the resources I have to help with my cohesiveness. I also would reread the paper from beginning to end to make sure that my conclusion and other areas of my paper are strong and efficient. I enjoyed the course but I did struggle with a few things, some of the major challenges I faced was time management. Throughout the semester I had trouble using my time in class wisely, I would find myself not paying attention or getting distracted easily. I also would put off things that could have been done in class and try to do them once I got to my room. That was a terrible idea because there are many distractions in my room and I would find myself not doing my absolute best while doing my best.
