When communicating with people, there are five types of contexts used in conveying
your message to the other party involved. Be it yourself with Interpersonal
Communication or when you think to yourself about the certain message you are
receiving or even when you daze off onto space. To Group Communication, when you 're
speaking with a small gathering of people about any certain topic. We are always
communication with someone and have been since the beginning of time. At certain
times these contexts could even overlap and create a process in which has many more
layers than when it first started out.
Let’s start and talk about the Intrapersonal communication. The communication you
have with yourself. The thoughts you make about a certain person or topic. Something
to get your focus off. I mean, we all do. I do when I’m in the shower and thinking about I
will be doing next on my schedule. Or when I’m at work and just start planning what I
will be talking about next as I just finish my meeting or how I did during the meeting. It’s

...n it doesn’t do anything for them. They don’t
need to know. Also, I do a lot of one-on-one’s with work and out customers, I find it
easier to keep their attention then with a group of people. As we can see from where I’m
going, I do not relate to group communication what’s so ever. I am nervous about
speaking in front of people, even if its a small group. Sure, it is something I need to work
on as it could benefit both my personal and professional life. I will be working on it and
hopefully I won’t see it as an issue anymore.
Communication in general is very important technique in getting points across. From
thoughts you have with yourself to sending emails to all your colleagues as to why you
will be leaving work indefinitely. We are always communicating with people around us.
Some people prefer one or the other but we will always have one form that we use the
most.
