Treaties from all over Europe was signed to prevent any future war breaking out in 1918. Also In 1919 Treaty of Versailles. To prevent future war The Entente intended these treaties in Europe. They were probably because war that was in Europe. In 1919, Adolf Hitler was invited later on in the year to the German workers is formed by Anton Drexler. By 1920, the national socialist German workers has a party the German Workers Party changes it manifesto, and renamed it. Nazism was born during The National Socialist German workers party. 1921 Adolf Hitler became the leader of Nazi party and he told everybody about his a nit Semitic views. Germany suffered hyper-inflation and made their currency worthless in 1923. People that were in the cities starved. The Germans needed help from the international. The USA loaned Germany billions of dollars of gold to start up a new currency with the people in Germany starting to feel helpless they turn to extremist political parties, who promise success, and a way out of international humiliation. In the year of 1923 unsuccessfully attempted to seize power in Germany & Bavaria. He knew people would support his party, instead only to find out they dubbed the Nazi part as “thugs”. On the first of April, 1924 Hitler was sentenced 5 years in prison. He only did 8 months of services. Hitler was banned from public speaking from all over, but he overturned this ban through the years later on. The Nazi party was banned, but Hitler overturned this also. The newspaper that they bought in 1920 was banned and they overturned to this too. He later realized that was the only way he could get into power was legitimately. Nazi propaganda went all across Germany, but Hitler was not successful with the votes. The Reichstag only had 12 seats out of 491 in 1928 the Nazis, but suddenly in 1929 the Wall Street Crash plunged the world into a huge economic depression. Great for one on the Nazi Party and they also propaganda went into a major overdrive.1930 German elections Nazi people support went up to 107 seats in the Reichstag and it became the second most popular political party in Germany, communist were the third most popular after. Adolf Hitler came into power of Germany in 1934. Wanting power, land and revenge, Hitler gets troops ready to attack. Hitler was a troop in WWI for Germany. Once the Germans lost the war, Hitler took that personally, and wanted revenge. After coming into power with his army of Nazis, Hitler is quick to blame Jewish people for all the harsh debt and corruption in Germany. The Germans believe him, causing them to hate Jewish people. The holocaust happened throughout 1933-1945, it ended when Hitler killed himself.

The War of the Triple Alliance is regarded as the bloodiest war in the history of Latin America, taking place from 1864 to 1870. In a seemingly uneven match up, the country of Paraguay took on an alliance of three countries: Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina. Paraguay started this conflict under the rule of Francisco Solano López, the country’s dictator. What would make Fransisco Solano López, dictator of Paraguay, exponentially increase his military forces and attack an alliance of three countries, two of which are much larger than Paraguay? I will use operational code to study the dictator who started the war and examine reasons as to why he made such the rash and risky decision that he did. After examining Francisco Solano López’s operational code, I will delve into the topic of prospect theory to further evaluate the reasons for mobilizing a military and starting a war, and the risks involved with doing so. The topic of militarized interstate disputes, otherwise known as MIDs, will be the last subject I discuss in relation to the causes of the war, and I will explain his motives for the dispute as well as the motives of the opposition
It all began after World War I when Germany was humiliated due to the Treaty of Versailles. The Treaty of Versailles was given to the German power to sign following World War I in 1919. The Treaty forced Germany to give up land to other countries and any colonies that Germany had over seas were now owned by the League of Nations. Although Germany lost a lot of land due to the treaty, the humiliation was truly what punished the German Moral. This part of the treaty was called the “War Guilt Clause”. This “forced the German nation to accept complete responsibility for initiating World War I” (livingston.org). Aside from taking responsibility for starting the war, Germany was also given the responsibility to repair the damages of the war. The humiliation that Germany suffered allowed for new power to rise in Germany. This new power was Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party.

With over 16 million dead, it was one of the first wars with a high amount of casualties. However, the one that tops the list with around 60 million deaths was World War II.
The Treaty of Versailles was a violation of Wilson’s ideals. The Treaty is one of the most important agreements (or disagreements) that shaped 20th century Europe socially and physically. Woodrow Wilson on January 22, 1917 in an address to the United States Senate called for a peace without victors, but the Treaty signed by the participating nations was everything but that. The blame for the war was placed on Germany and justified the reparations that were outlined by the treaty for the war. The terms of the treaty were very harsh to the Germans and they took on great resentment. It was a fragile peace agreement that would be used as fuel to keep hostilities going 20 years later.
Problems with the Maastricht Treaty and its Goal to Unify Europe My position is in opposition to the unification of Europe as proposed under the Maastricht Treaty, as beneficial to Europe. The First World War As The Result Of The Alliance System The alliance system played a key role in starting the First World War. The alliances increased tension, they restricted states’ actions because they were binding and most importantly, they involved more countries into the war; they increased the scale of the war. These are the reasons why the alliances are a key factor in causing the war.
After the First World War that led to death of millions of people, many countries decided to put measures to avoid any future conflict. The League of Nations in the 1920s came up with the idea of collective security where countries acting together would discourage aggression and act to stop the aggressor. This did not work out well as countries failed to agree on common policies. As a result, appeasement was considered. It was a policy that was adopted by the British government in the1930s. It was formulated from the belief that some countries such as Germany were unfairly treated in the Versailles treaty of 1918-1919. Adolf Hitler came into power in Germany on January 1933 after exploiting the depression-afflicted economy and the vehement popular resentment against Versailles treaty. The Nazi leader started by alarming the diplomats on his hatred towards the parliamentary system of governance and democratic government. The Treaty of Versailles stated that Germany’s army was restricted to 100,000 men, they were to pay 132 billion in damages from the war, and they could have no air force. Germany was in a depression. Hitler became the hero; he promised the German people financial stability and his promise came true. Germany was finally out of their depression and working great, thanks to Adolf Hitler. Hitler was loved by many, he had saved Germany, and he was greatly admired by Germans nationwide.
