Everyday in the United States, there are pit bulls be banned, and euthanized.. There are approximately 937 cities in the united states that has some sort of a Breed Restriction legislation.To me this is absurd! People are getting these dogs and are trained to fight. It 's so wrong. Every time I hear about a dog fight or seeing a pit bull chained up makes me really upset and I 'm tired of it. How would those people feel if they were treated like that? I personally love Pit bulls, but some people don 't. I personally own a brindle pit bull named Boosie. I always say how a dog turns out depends on their owner. I had my dog ever since he was a puppy, and I raised him very well. He 's so sweet and loving. I don 't see how people would want to ban …show more content…

They say they see pit bulls are overly dangerous and overly abused by humans. They say that pitbulls , account for 75% of canine-inflicted human deaths. It is undisputed that pit bulls are the most abused dog. They are nurtured for the specific purpose of violence, the dogs are treated cruelly to make them as dangerous as possible, and are mostly abandoned when they are not vicious enough for their devilish …show more content…

Pit bulls do not have the strongest jaws of all the dogs that are here on earth. . In fact, the was a study that included a pit bull, a Rottweiler, and a German Shepherd, the pit bull had the weakest jaw. Also, the average pressure a dogs jaw can do is 320 psi of pressure. In this same study the pit bull maxed out at only 235 psi.
Pitbulls do not have locking jaws. I hate when people say they do. They say the jaws of pit bulls have absolutely no unique locking mechanism and function entirely the same as every other dog. Another myth is that pit bulls attack more than other dogs, and that makes them look dangerous. First of all, pit bulls are a very popular breeds, so it makes sense that the frequency of attacks would correlate in such a manner

Secondly, pitbulls do not inherently attack more than any other breed. Pit bulls may attack often, but this may just be because they are trained by foolish humans. People buy pit bulls because they want tough dogs that can attack, so the dogs are trained in a manner that promotes this. However, this quality is not inherent. If pit bulls were banned, dog owners who want a dog to fight, they honestly could just go and train another dog breed. Therefore, banning pit bulls would make no progress at all. We have to see that pit bulls are not inherently dangerous; they have a connotation of being dangerous so more people who want dangerous dogs
