When a lot of people hear my name, Charity Tevis, they probably think of the talkative girl with a speech impediment, and I am fine with that. I cannot pronounce my r’s correctly, and I know that is part of me. I do not think I can be Charity Tevis with the ability to say my r’s. It is a unique fact about me, you notice the second I begin to speak and I am completely, and utterly good with that.
I guess to really know who I am you need to know the origin of me and where I come from. I was born right here in Longview, Washington and have lived here my whole life. My parents, Russ and Jane, are wonderful parents who try their best in everything imaginable and that has affected me a lot as a person. My ethics are different, my morals are all there, and I am very outgoing. As well as my eight other siblings, I have participated in student government, key club, 4-H, church activities, etc, all while maintaining above a 3.8 GPA, playing sports, and having a social life. Now that is a lot to handle all at once, but it makes me, me.
