When a lot of people hear my name, Charity Tevis, they probably think of the talkative girl with a speech impediment, and I am fine with that. I cannot pronounce my r’s correctly, and I know that is part of me. I do not think I can be Charity Tevis with the ability to say my r’s. It is a unique fact about me, you notice the second I begin to speak and I am completely, and utterly good with that.
I guess to really know who I am you need to know the origin of me and where I come from. I was born right here in Longview, Washington and have lived here my whole life. My parents, Russ and Jane, are wonderful parents who try their best in everything imaginable and that has affected me a lot as a person. My ethics are different, my morals are all there, and I am very outgoing. As well as my eight other siblings, I have participated in student government, key club, 4-H, church activities, etc, all while maintaining above a 3.8 GPA, playing sports, and having a social life. Now that is a lot to handle all at once, but it makes me, me. Right after finishing that paragraph I felt

But I guess to ease the process a bit I will let you know who I am. I am a backseat driver to life. I like to put it this way because not only am I a backseat driver in most situations, but I absolutely hate not knowing what is going on. I thrive on being in charge and doing things my way. I have learned when to do this as well as when it is not appropriate to do it, but don’t worry, in my head I am definitely doing things differently. I can not handle messes as well as sticky things. If an apple has a sticker on it or did have one that I can see, I will not eat that apple. Now, I know this is insane, but again, I am a backseat driver to life so it all fits
So, who am I? Should I describe the person I see when I look in the mirror or the person I am working to become? The person I am changes with each new experience, with every person who enters or exits my life, and with how I handle the challenges placed before me. So, the person I am, that is something I will spend the rest of my life discovering.
A person can only know who they are based on their interests, and how they help guide us through the daily problems of life. One thing we have to pay attention to is the point that each of our unique worldviews, is in its simplest state a way to reduce and solve issues in our lives. After taking The Art of Being Human class, my personal worldview has changed to a belief in having compassion for everybody in the world according to classic Buddhist teachings. This mindset goes beyond those teachings, however, to almost a natural way of thinking that if humans care for everything on earth a lot of our man-made problems would go away. One of the ways we can do this is to read literature and enjoy entertainments from the past, in able to learn lessons

Throughout the world, but especially in the United States nonprofit organizations are very important and a necessity for many cities. With more than 8 million employees and more than 80 million volunteers in the United States alone nonprofit are some of the most important job in recent times (Drucker). The importance of many nonprofit organizations could be the difference between many people’s lives and their deaths. The importance of nonprofit organizations is growing throughout the United States day by day. The fact that nonprofits are built solely on helping the people throughout your community and neighboring communities make nonprofits important based on that fact in itself. Nonprofit provide places to sleep when maybe a family has nowhere to go or somewhere to have a hot meal. I am an intuitive-feeling personality. I am charismatic, participative and very people oriented. I tend to focus on the big picture and not the small specifics. I am not power hungry and try to be helpful and giving to those around me.

About UNICEF, I expected that it was just responsible for focusing on the needs and rights of the child over the world. In fact, its aim was more than that it was also to promote the equal rights of women and girls and to support their full participation in the political, social, and economic development of their communities. In instance, celebrating annually the International Day of the Girl Child on October 11 to highlight issues concerning the gender inequality facing young girls. In addition, the organization 's extent is much wider than I anticipated. For example:
The concept of altruism dates back to the time of the French sociologists and philosopher, Auguste Comte. The word altruism comes from the Italian language and means serving others. Roughly, altruism appears as the opposite of the then reigning ideology of egoism. On the other hand, mutual aid dates back to the time of Peter Kropotkin. The Russian geographer and self-proclaimed anarchist gave up all his wealth and better lifestyle in order to advance his theory of mutual aid. The major concern was the liberation of the fellow Russians who languished in poverty.
People’s lives are changed every day by their actions and experiences. This past summer, I participated in a community service project, an experience that opened my eyes in many ways. I was a volunteer at the County Memorial Hospital. In my time as a volunteer at the hospital, I was able to meet patients and staff members from all over the world and learn about their life experiences. Listening to all of their stories has made me truly appreciate everything which I have.
Thousands of homeless animals are looking for forever homes in America. Volunteering is a great way to give to your community and socialize the animals at the shelters. Working with dogs and cats that have not had good starts in their lives helps them trust again. It helps animals get over the trauma they have had before they went to the shelter. Socializing makes the animal more adoptable and they are given a chance to get forever homes. Volunteer at your local humane society 's and help out the animals like I have worked with in shelters.
Personally, I consider myself as an adoring, kind-hearted and determined person. I’m respectful and caring to everyone around me. I pursue my goals to the end and I never rest until I accomplish them. I 'm confident that my companions would depict me as a compassionate and kind individual. I believe others see me as a steadfast individual who is obliging of others. They would also consider me competitive since I am aggressive when in pursuit of a target. My coworkers think of me as a problem solver, because I am very logical. I am also humble and generous. I love to give back to those in need. My friends view me as a free spirit, creative and imaginative person. They also see me as being very sociable and outgoing. I’m huge
Who am I? I am just an average 19 years old girl who was lucky to be born within a happy family. The nature that I have around me does define who I am physically as well as psychologically. The way I think and interpret the world may be different from others, but it is just a part of my perceptions and cognitions in term of psychology. The experiences that I have gained in the past make me become a stronger and more completed person as who I am today.
Sometimes a person may feel that they have no purpose in life. Finding out who you are just takes the time of sitting down and thinking of the importance in your life. Who am I? I am Mercedes Kimberly Kingston, and I am a person with different personalities, characteristics, and identities. The many ways, in which I identify myself, in fact, are the ways that define who I am. My Identity is something only I can fully define. I have a little brother, which makes me a sister; I have two loving parents, which makes me a daughter; I am in college studying medicine, which makes me a student; and I have wonderful friends in desperate need of support, which makes me a wonderful best friend.
I know who I am, and I believe I even began realizing as a young girl. My mother would always tell me how beautiful and lovely I am, on the inside and out, as well as who and who’s I am. Referring to our walk of faith, my mother would tell me I am a daughter of Jesus Christ, and would continually remind me of who I am in him. I keep all these memories with me to this day, and I walk with confidence, boldness and overflowing joy. I know the world has many terrible things occurring in it; I am not oblivious to this, but I have hope. My family and friends are always encouraging and challenging me to be the best young woman of God I can be. This is a deep desire of mine too, as well as a large part of why I am who I am, and why I find it important to continue life this way. As the quiz says about my color, I am continually encouraging others, seeking harmonious relationships, and enjoying the “little things” in life. All of these things, and more, helped shape my perception, how I see myself, and how I now communicate and interact with others. It is a challenging journey at times, but if someone were to ask me if I would change a thing, I would say absolutely
Philanthropy is powerful because everyone can be affected by the love for mankind, this can change the world for better. Philanthropy is not the practice of self importance and putting yourself above others. Philanthropy and its power of changing the world is about donating to charity your time, belongings, or even sharing kind words or advice in an effort to better others. It is about giving to others less fortunate, and caring about other humans. Whether you know them or not, helping others and caring for the welfare of those less fortunate can change the world. One person can change the life of someone else's by one simple act of charity or kindness. Bill Gates is a wonderful example, due to his material advantages, he can give his belongings to others to help them, rather than keeping all his success to himself. Over his lifetime Mr. Gates donated $27
