“Like all science, psychology is knowledge; and like science again, it is knowledge of definite thing, the mind” (James Mark Baldwin. (n.d.)). The definition of mind according to Merriam-Webster is “the part of the person who thinks, reason, feels, and remembers” (Merriam-Webster. (n.d.)). What a person feels, thinks and remembers come from the memories inside the brain. Developmental Psychology “seeks to understand how and why all kinds of people, everywhere, of every age-change over time” (Berger, K. S. (2014). Memories are also a part of seeking how and why people change over time. Memories are an example of a part of the brain that helps the explanation of how people change Memories are a complex part to the brain that is made easy though the movie Inside Out by Disney’s Pixar studios. This movie follows a 11-year old girl, named Riley. Riley and

her parents move to form Minnesota to San Francisco. She struggles with the move. This story is told by Riley’s five emotions: Anger, Joy, Sadness, Disgust, and Fear.
