“I'd rather look younger and feel happy than look older and be depressed” said The Queen of Comedy Joan Rivers. Now a day’s people feel this way about plastic surgery. They would go under knives, hours of surgery and thousands of complication just to look pretty. Every year millions of people go through complicated plastic surgery, and this number is increasing every year. The major reason of this increscent is people want to change their physic to look pretty. Fake beauty or plastic surgery is an obsession this generation in spite of knowing the side effect to bring variation.
People are obsessed with plastic surgery. A statistic report by British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) indicates that a total of 50,122surgical procedures were carried out in 2013 alone in UK. There are more than 15 kinds of beautification surgeries among them Breast augmentation is the most famous one (UK cosmetic surgery statistics 2013). The biggest question is why do people do that? There are many answers to this question. The first reason is women as well as men wants to look pretty. They want a perfect face and a body like a movie star. On the other hand movie stars or star personalities wants perfect face, skin and body to show off. Another reason is that people especially women do not want any sign of aging on their faces. According to an article of CBS news, “On average, subjects though patients were 2.1 years younger than their actual age before surgery and 5.2 years younger after their procedures, for an average of about three years younger than their perceived age”. Variation in life is very important. To have that variation everyone is obsessing with plastic surgery. Spent some money, and resources you can have that can by a new face or body. Risk is a part of our everyday life. If forget the risk for moment then this can give people new life, confidence, and career. No wonder everyone is getting crazy our plastic surgery.
