Later, these uses of pigment went from practical to cosmetic use. Through the years, humans all over the globe began using pigment for beauty and hierarchical purposes. One of the main, and first uses of pigment for appearance was, lipstick. This report will detail the history of lipstick from ancient to modern times, as well as delve into the societal aspects of why it was used and became popular.
