Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci, or as most of the world knows him Leonardo da Vinci is without a question a prodigy not only intelligence wise, but in talent, so much that he has being categorized as a polymath meaning that he was an expert in many subject. From mathematics, philosophy, science, painting, sculpting, architecture, astronomy, chemistry, and many more. He was born April 15th, 1452 from an Italian gentleman named Messer Piero da Vinci, and a peasant girl named Catarina. As a child Leonardo lived with his mother until the age of five, when he was moved to live in the wealthy house of his father. As a child he received education on mathematics, Latin, and geometry. Some of the painting works he did on walls are also among the best known works in history as is The Last Supper. He is believed to have invented the parachute, the tank(used in war), and helicopter. One of a manuscript he wrote in mirror image is The Codex Atlanticus that consist of 1,119 leaves, talking about many subjects like astronomy, chemistry, mechanics, mathematics, philosophy, and many drawings giving precise descriptions of inventions, observations, and thoughts he had. With a work done on paper called The Vitruvian man, he proved the depth of knowledge he had in mathematics and proportions. The proportions of the perfect man is given, and in recent times those exact measurements had been use to create robots, which astonishingly work perfectly. Notably is to mention that the Codex was written in mirror image script, as well as the inscriptions for the Vitruvian Man. Although, not necessary inferring that he was dyslexic just because of his writings. But when his life is being analyzed, is important to note that he is known as being very curious, constantly moving from one place to another. Never in his live was he able to finished a single work. Peers of his time as Michelangelo, criticized him because Leonardo was difficult to get along with, and because he never finished any of his woks. Even so, without knowing a medical name for the differences that existed between him and his contemporaries, Leonardo was extremely successful, so much that more than 5 centuries after his death the world knows about him. His works on mathematics, proportions, flight, technology and much more is utilize in the present. He did a remarkable contribution to human advances, even when he didn’t had the advantage of computers and advance technology that exist in our days. When analyzed all the facts that contributed to what he became, his disabilities are a gift to us presently. Not only is no record found of Leonardo feeling sorry for himself about how different he was. He worked until his death on May 2th, 1519 at the age of only 67. With this superb example, anyone that has a disability, specially one that has a harsh stigma as are mental affections, should know is not alone. It might be difficult sometimes to get to the end purpose, because society is not made to fit those who are different. But to have a positive attitude, to be persistent, to always try the best route that is in front of a person that has iether a physical or mental disability is
