In everyday life, human beings tend to act spontaneously without paying attention to their actions and the reactions, however, each individual falls under certain patterns and different categories. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) diagnostic plays a significant role in explaining thoroughly the high-level description of sixteen personality types. It has been a well-known tool for distinguishing between different personalities without any unwanted impact on a person’s character. The MBTI diagnostic has been a proven tool in diagnosing personalities used by the most famous people and applied to historical figures around the world. Two historical American leaders who share the same category of ESTP are John Fitzgerald Kennedy, commonly known by his initials JFK, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, also known by his initials FDR. When using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the two great historical figures, John F. Kennedy and Franklin D. Roosevelt, share many similarities according to the ESTP character category because they both have demonstrated they were motivated career people, risk takers, and inspirational public speakers.
The Myers Briggs is a very useful tool to analyze individual’s personalities; for instance, ESTP types are outgoing, involved in their community, friendly with the general public, and they get energy from being around people. ESTP personality stands for Extraversion, Sensing, Thinking, and Perception. In this case, John F. Kennedy and Franklin D. Roosevelt both had the same personality ESTP type, which means they share many of the same characteristics. For example, both of them are enthusiastic, excitable, and fun to be around.

The remarkable success happen because they had some of the significant elements of the ESTP personality type such as having career ambition, being a risk-taker, and giving motivational speeches that reflect their great successes of leadership. ESTPs recognize their real talents, advance in them, and accomplish truly exciting achievements. With respect to Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the human personality cannot always be measured with total accuracy by the character categories, due to the fact that people are not always alike. However, MBTI still provides a very clear illustration about people’s behavior and personality types.
