Sometimes you need to be patient to start a conversation with someone who is elder or younger than you. And I can guarantee that you would be amazed. In 2/4/2015 I conduct this interview with my grandmother and I’ve learned a lot about my grandmother since grandparents are the link to our past. Grandparents are there to teach us life lessons and offer unconditional love. I’m blessed to have such a wonderful and strong grandmother. People who still have their both grandparents alive are lucky. My grandmother Fatmah add such a great amount of joy to my life because of her warm heart. Specially, when I'm sad I just find comfort by visiting her and to me she is irreplaceable. This interview was done to explore the life of my grandmother had
“ That is true, at the past women have played an important social role. Whereas men were supposed to leave the house for a long time to work” . Women were mostly at home and they were responsible to take care of their children and husband. Besides that women used to knitting and to embroider. Who worked at that time were rare and mostly in education field. According to me I took care of my family and provide them with food through the cultivation of various crops. Allah gave me two girls and two boys and as a parent we made sure to raise our children in the right way and know their value because Allah will ask us later. But things have completely changed. Nowadays parent are more dependent on the maids and let them raise their children. And women now is taking a large part in the society and hold positions in the government.
