This quote is a perfect outlook towards the importance of education in the modern world. Education remains one of the most powerful forces on the face of the planet and the evidence can be found all around the world. The act of teaching the next generation of leaders, philosophers, artists, and economists is one full of passion and joy; something I noticed a long time ago. Not all teachers are able to make it to the end of this adventure, but those who really teach find a passion and happiness that causes them to live for the adventure.

To start, it 's important to understand the first part of this years topic. Teaching is a choice that is full of passion and determination to improve the world and shape its future. Those who choose to teach are choosing a path they know they will enjoy, excel at, and make a difference. I see real vigor in what our educators do, and this fervor and desire to teach can change everything about their effect on students. This passion has even went on to inspire me in many cases. For example, my American History teacher Mrs. Sulsona inspired a true sense of patriotism and love of country. Before my sophomore year; I didn’t really care for my country and had no idea what it really meant to be an American. I had no interest in American History, politics, or culture. The United States of America was nothing more than the country where I lived. Mrs. Sulsona didn’t only teach me about the history of the United States, but taught me what it meant to be a citizen of this great nation. Teaching is full of ups and downs; as well as many joys and hardships. To say that it is a constant and stable career would be nothing more than an incorrect statement. I’ve seen what and transpire in the classroom from both the perspective of the student and the educator thanks to the internships offered by my FFEA chapter. I’ve seen a silent and calm classroom transform into a roundy and loud warzone. Everyday teachers have to deal with students with no respect, little or no confidence in their abilities, and those who who just don’t want to be taught. I’ve seen teachers get crushed by these hardships and I can’t blame them. But, no adventure worth going on was ever completed without difficulties and hardships. But every adventure also has it’s great moments and positives, and teaching is no different. some Teachers surpass impossible odds everyday in this country by teaching these students and seeing them move forward in the world. It’s the moments when I teacher is finally able to get a student that A or when a student finally understands that he can pass the class if he works for it. Moments like these are when teachers realize why they preserve and never give up on a student. I will never forget how happy my sixth grade math teacher was when I passed my math final. I was struggling with the class the entire year and felt that there was no way for me to pass the class. No matter
