How We Recognize What Is True And What Is False

Recommended: Perception and logic

There are no distinctions between what is true and what is false. Well in some cases this maybe incorrect. One may ask how any decision is based upon something that is only true, if there is nothing to distinguish what is true from what is false. There is reasoning, perception and emotion to deal with processing the facts from a source in which tells lies. So first a person would have to know the real definition of each of these terms. Truth according to many dictionaries is a factual act or actuality. The word false is an uttering or declaring what is untrue. Then after the meanings of true and false have been justified, there can be an evaluation of this question. But if a person wants to contrast the two then it is a matter of how the human mind comprehends certain information. The argument that is going to be presented is based around the area of knowledge, ways of knowing, and also around an individual and the community.

Throughout the community, there really is no other way to advance and to be fortunate in today's toxic environment. There are con artists that grow up in different associations just to manipulate the truth and this is awful for the community in which people live in. Often that is what we mean when we say truth by contrast with false. In the Baptist community, the King James Version of the Holy Bible, God's written word is to be everyman guidance of what is true and false, right and wrong, and good and evil. In I John 2:21, the Bible tells us “that no lie is of the truth”. Dealing with the human science, humans only have a glimpse of what is to come with the finite minds we have. We as humans cannot grasp the big picture. On the other hand, God knows all things; present, past, and future. This is the truth ...

... individual has the capacity to allow their own perception and reasoning come to play in making a choice to what is right and what is wrong. The people must use their own perception and beliefs to evaluate all kinds of truths which the public has settled in our heads to believe in. The truth will always prevail and false teachings will be taught but it is up to the public to use their good morals and reasoning to not be influence by what sounds good. In other words, the truth cannot be false and a lie cannot be of the truth.
