As we know hybrid cars were near popular when they first starting producing them because of high gas price about 5 to 10 years ago. People was like oh wow a car that can actually save gas which is half gas and half electric. The purpose of it to be hybrid is to conserve fuel when you really need it the most hybrids can get better mpg than some regular cars. When car Companies like Toyota and Honda started producing hybrids many more car companies like Lexus, Kia started to produce hybrids for the vehicles as well. When you talk about sustainability it come down to be a lot to talk about if you’re not a person who knows a lot about cars. Depending on how you are driving your hybrid it will determine how much fuel you saving by the mile. Hybrid cars might have a better advantage when running out of gas in traffic because you will always know your car will run off and electric battery that stores energy which it turns which you turn your car into and electric car. For example you stuck in traffic after a long day at work you forgot you needed to get gas and you ran out of gas in traffic and your panicking, but then your remember your car can drive this certain amount of miles without gas in the car. That is one advantage hybrids have over regular gas cars cause when you driving a regular car you don’t have to engines that can work as two in one so when you run out of gas its nothing you can do but call a tow truck but when running out of gas which a gasoline engine it can damage the car …show more content…

Why is that? Well many people felt to realize that they love that advantage of saving gas but you can’t take hybrid car certain place like in snow because there not that great in snow cause of less power than its gasoline version of the vehicle. People with hybrids would spend more money on buying a hybrid than regular version because not many people is buy hybrids at this time any more. And the maintained on a hybrid would cost you a lot more in money because of its runs differently from a gasoline
