Importance Of My Academic Career

Throughout my academic career I have accomplished various achievements and been presented with many challenges. Nonetheless, these experiences were necessary in molding me into the student I am today. High school allowed me to conquer many of my goals. My first achievement is one that many may see as mundane. After debating whether I should enroll myself in my school 's driving course, I took the plunge. It was my junior year of high school and after seeing so many pupils my age begin to drive and become independent, I knew it was time for me to do so as well. I am glad that I now am free from the constraints of my parents. I am am also thankful that my friend Brenda is also attending UCF. Having her around has aided me in adjusting to college. One of the challenges I have faced thus far, is when I was enrolled in a strictly online course during the summer for Psychology. I struggled with the fast paced nature of the class and also its online components. I am looking forward to being able to take more art classes so that I can go further into my major and improve my artistic skills. Being able to experience different approaches to art while surrounded by other aspiring artists also excites me. I hope to join the illustration club so that I may be more involved with like-minded, creative individuals. My behavior in class has been shaped by my experiences. I believe my professors would most likely describe me as quiet, attentive, and curious. I usually do not talk much in my classes, because I do not know many people and I want to focus on the content of the course. I am attentive to my professors when they speak and take the notes they present. I would be described as curious, because I often stay after class to ask questions. Now that I have begun my college journey I hope that I can use the challenges I have overcome in the past as learning experiences to further my academic
