Introduction My immediate family consist of my mom, brother, sister and grandparents on my mother’s side. My dad’s side consist of my three brothers, 2 sisters, my dad, my grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. I have a pretty big family in general. We all fight sometimes. We all get stressed about another’s situations sometimes. We all communicate differently. We all have different wants and needs. We have our own goals for ourselves and each other. Last but least, we all love each other no matter what we go through. I am going to write about my family in many different aspects of life. Mate Selection My family comes from all over. My mother met my father while working. She decided to date him because he was nice and was well put together. She likes someone who is nice to her and she can be just as equally nice. God is the light when we are left in the dark. He is the king almighty. Religion brings my family closer in every aspect. When I have a disagreement with my parents, my grandmother always refers to the Bible. When I am feeling weak inside, my grandmother lays hands on me and prays. We say our grace together and pray together. We may not all go to the same church but we have the same beliefs. We try to love and learn according to the Bible. When my aunt got sick with cancer, we prayed for her healing and for the pain to vanish. God works in mysterious ways, he led to aunt home to his kingdom. She is no longer in pain and that is what matters the most. When we feel like our hope is fading, one of my family members will remind us that Christ has something for us.
