Ghanghis Khan and Timur were two rulers that came from the same reigion. They both most likely had Turkic descent and had spoken Turkic language. Their rise to power was similar and they had united tribes in order to conquer lands. To unite tribes would mean that a person needed to be an effective speaker and both of them persusavive skills. They are both self-made men and military geniuses. They knew how to pit people aginast one another to their advantage. They knew how to fight even when outnumbered and the odds against them. Their conquests made in their respective time periods have influence many world events and continues to shape the politics of Central Asia and beyond. Their legacies are something that are talked about today as military leaders around the world have studied their technique. They have many similarities but have more differences. The way they ruled differiented. The enviornments that Gheghis and Timur had come out of were different.
