The Youth Ministry’s Value Statement, which is a promise of values to be delivered and a belief from the Youth that value will be experienced, is comprised of:
Love: Ministry will show kindness, concern, and attention to others because Christ first loved the us; the Ministry.
Welcome: Ministry seeks to live as a distinctive community of faith in which one and all feel welcomed.
Excitement: Ministry strives to produce a setting that interests youth and their families. Spiritually: Ministry bases its programming on the groundwork of a mutual faith in Jesus Christ.
Leadership: Ministry encourages that all believers are gifted by the Spirit of God and blessed to serve within the body of Christ.
Growth: Ministry works to be enduring disciples who constantly are growing in faith.
Mission: Ministry shows its faith in precise, concrete deeds of service, mainly to those in need. Trust: Ministry encourages an atmosphere of recognition in which the countenance of truthful questions and a minority view is valued.
God-Based: Ministry seeks to become more and more like Chris, living out the fruits of the Holy Spirit, reminding themselves that God is the centerpiece in everything that the Ministry does. Discipleship: Ministry’s longing is to be grounded in the bases of our faith and to interconnect our faith well and positively with others.
Joy: Ministry is infectiously enthused about its faith that attracts others to be a part of our church family.
Step 2: Formulation of Objectives
The goals of this Youth Ministry are to empower young people to live as disciples of Christ; to draw youth to responsible participation in the faith community’s life, mission, work, and foster each young person’s personal and spiritual growth.

Since most youth members are in High School, almost all Youth ministry activities are related to this age group. All Youth ministry activities are in direct relationship with our slogan- “Find, Develop, Convert and Send” Once we find youth that are willing to develop, grow and willingly become a disciple Christ, once converted from who they were to who they anticipate to be in Christ, they will be sent out to the world.
Due to a small Youth group and as mentioned limited budget, we only have Sundays as our meeting days on the Calendar. On Wednesday nights, the Senior Pastor also utilizes Bible study sessions for all church members to bring the Youth together for worship, fellowship, and Scriptural teaching in the main sanctuary.
Wednesday services are a great for ministering to family, both the youth and their parents. I need to reach youths because it is hard to evangelize after youths have been indoctrinated the education...

The Sunday morning service opened with a selection by the sanctuary choir and orchestra, followed by a congregational hymn. Pastor Gaines began talking to the congregation about looking at the vision frame of the future for the church and their mission statement, which comes out of the word of God. A testimony of multiplying disciples was shown featuring Kyle Reno. The sermon given by Pastor Gaines Multiplying Disciple Makers was relevant to the needs of the world today. The sermon came from the scripture of Matthew 28:18-20 and Timothy 2:1-7. Pastor Gaines stated, “Every disciple is called to be a disciple maker. The word of God is completely sufficient at pointing individuals to Jesus...

“Reaching Out without Dumbing Down” seems to be constructed for the church leader, elder, or pastor who is considering altering their current, historic worship style for a more modern one that may attract greater numbers of unsaved people. She provides excellent standards to help Pastors and Worship Leaders plan, execute, and evaluate worship services. These same standards provide a great opportunity to educate the church family on the reasons behind the use of certain worship elements. Although written for church leadership, the everyday church member would also benefit from understanding the very concepts that Dawn is directing at God-empowered leaders.
“The call is something that is an indescribable joy and an indefinable burden at the same time.” (Bryant and Brunson 2007, 32). There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a congregation of the redeemed moving forward in their faith. However exciting this may be, it is usually not the thrill that propels the pastor in his service. It is the burden placed on the pastor by God that compels him in his work. The pastor understands that he is largely responsible for the work of God being accomplished by his faithfulness to his calling. “All through the Word of God and down through the annals of history, when God has moved it has almost always been attended by the preaching of the Word.” (Bryant and Brunson 2007, 31)
I have a threefold purpose in applying to the MA in Ministry program. The first is personal and involves pastoral development in responding to multi-ethnic populations within and outside the church. While I teach and e...

....” This scripture is consistent with the growing youth movement. Young people are receiving salvation, witnessing and praising God with a passion that has not been seen in the recent past. All of this seems to point to the Second Coming of the Lord, which makes the work of the ministry all the more urgent. Take a look at your own church. Does it have a passion for young people or has it written them of to being a condemned generation? Jesus said in John 3:17 “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” Review your every day world and see if there is a young person that you could influence and share the news that Jesus loves them. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:37 “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
As a Christian the word of God will be in the forefront of every decision or task. Servant leadership emphasizes many biblical principles. As a leader each task should be undertaken
Our main goal is to present everyone fully mature in Christ. (Col. 1:28) we warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. (1 Th. 5:14-15) We pray for them (Jam. 5:13-16) and help them to recognize and repent for their sins. (Matt.
Parents should teach their children to have a missionary spirit. They should mold their children’s mind to interest in the work of God. It is important for the parents to shape their children’s interest toward the spreading of the Gospel. Let us see the counsel:
The first deals with Caring, within this function a leader should look to see if he is restoring, feeding, watering, grooming, shearing, delivering labs, leading, and protecting the flock. The second are is through courage in this the leader should assume responsibility, serving, and participating in change for the congregation. The final is through being a guide, in this the leader will help make decisions and action regarding the future of the Body of Christ. Thomas, explains that by fulfilling these different areas as a leader, a person can begin to live up to the mission of God also known as the Mission
Evangelism is one of the key component for changing people’s lives. McRaney states, “The word evangelism comes from a combination of Greek words for “good” and “messenger.” Evangelism involves bringing the goods. Kent Hunter reminded us that “when Christians witness, they tell how Jesus Christ has changed their own lives. The change in their own lives gives them the desires to share the Good News with others.” Christians must share their testimony to people and spread the gospel so that they can bring lost souls to Christ. God has commissioned every Christian to evangelize so that people will learn about Jesus Christ and accept Him as their personal savior. Matthew 28:19 states, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”. Christians are required to spread the Gospel throughout the world and can no longer just attend church. Christians must plant seeds and water the seeds so that lost souls will be saved.
“Everyone – pastors, laypeople, conference ministers, the whole congregation” must feel the presence of God in their life. If you do not have the sense that God is active in your life, it will be very difficult to share that with others. The second key Reese addresses is that all people “must be focused, minds engaged and open to see patterns, details, opportunities, changes and miracles.” People then must know what their roles are. People will have different gifts to share, however, “all faith, all reality, all love and any real movement comes from
