Introduction Yellowstone National Park is one of the largest national parks. Yellowstone has been a pioneer park for research in preserving wildlands for public use. Yellowstone National Park is located in the U.S. states of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. It has many types of ecosystems and attractions.

Firstly, they propose quarantine programs for bison but if the brucellosis test negative, the bison would be sent alive to other public, private or tribal lands. Secondly, the new plan for better bison management which gives them ability to freely move outside the park as wildlife. In a nutshell, bison should be conserved for future America generations.

Sustainable Practices As a national park, preserving ecosystem is the major part in maintaining it for tourist destination. Therefore, the management of Yellowstone National Park decides to develop Green Parks Plan to achieve the goal of protecting and preserving the park. In this plan, the efforts in sustainability are replacing toxic cleaning products, overhauling the park’s recycling program and last but not least building a regional composting facility. Furthermore, Yellowstone also has recycling program like aluminum cans, glass and paper product. The visitors may experience packing out the trash and then recycle. Visitors are encouraged to bring along small little pack to pick the trash during the hiking. From this, the environment can be protected by visitors.
