Founded by Jess Mc Mahon and Toots Mondt in 1952, it is the largest professional wrestling promotion in the world, and consists of the following business units:Live and Televised Entertainment,Consumer Products and Digital Media. WWE is recognized as a leader in providing entertainment related to sports years now. The strategy used by the organization is to capitalize on major leverage operations of the business model of the organization is distributed of its intellectual property across existing platforms related to media and also new emerging platforms based on distribution. EARLY HISTORY The history of the WWE started back tonthe 1920’s when a professional wrestler named Joseph Raymond “Toots” Mondt saw a future in the wrestling business an wanted to promote and get professional wrestling out to the public more . At the beginning wrestling consisted on mat grappling which had started decrease on its popularity due to the slow pace of the bouts. Toots Mondt, though and then innovated and created a new way of wrestling which he called it(Slam Bang western style Wrestling). This new way of wrestling was combined with the mat grappling with the new and different moves which is pretty much what they do in particular today. Mondt got help from two other promoter Ed Lewis and Billy Sandow, they formed the Gold dust Trio and started expanding and promoting wrestling in New York City. they Convince a lot of wrestler to sign with them, but because of disagreement over who had power the trio soon broke down and the promotion stop.
