Workaholics Workaholics are those who work at the expense of long hours every day without breaks. Being a workaholic is different from those who are a normal hard worker. The former had intense behavior of concerning their work and always to stay till the end of the day to get it finish while the latter has maintained a great quality of working benefits of their families and co-workers. Research had shown more on how being a workaholic isn’t a good sign. The signs that are going to be dealing with is health issues, no breaks, and the denial of being one. The first sign of being a workaholic is damaging your health in your body from working too hard. According to researchers, there are a number of people risking their lives caused by physical and psychological disorders such as heart attack, depression, anxiety as well as diabetes and large rates of burnout (Schmerl …show more content…

These people will not understand to stop working at times, including lunch and time off from the office; They lack wisdom of themselves for being too obsessed with their work performance, over or behind schedule since they might be doing other tasks in the offices, consequently lead to their energy will be relinquished from being overworked, and not having control of one single responsibility they need to take care of first (Schmerl 2). These causes are for people that are called perfectionism, who are people that refuse to do anything short and take drastic measures of making everything perfect. Unfortunately, every time they have nothing to work on they begin of either laziness, failure, or boredom (Killinger 4).
