you should accept me for staff as I have a lot of good attributes and I am overall a very skilled and helpful staff member.
Maturity: I am very mature and I am very good at handling situations in the correct method. I am a very calm person and I don’t get angry if anyone is saying anything to me in teamspeak. I would first of all give them a warning and tell them that if the don’t stop they will be banned. If they continue i would ban them from the teamspeak for staff disrespect. I think maturity is a key part of being a staff member at a server as if the staff are not mature the server will just die and won’t be fun to play anymore. I used to lie a lot when I was younger but now I have learnt that I would never get away with lying and i would just get caught. Lying would also get me nowhere in life so I have stopped. I think honesty is needed in any situation as it can easily get you out of any mess you have got yourself in and you would be trusted much more.
Catching Hackers: I believe I am great at catching hackers. The reason for this is that I study people that are hacking and watch their movements. Sometimes I look at the packets there sending and what level they are at (as in cps, packets etc.). I also used to use hacks myself but i have stopped but using hacks has taught me how to catch hackers and what is the easiest way to catch them.
Support Rooms: I believe that support rooms have a big part of being staff at servers as you help players with their needs and its vital for people who need to report hackers. An abundant amount of people would say they try to contain honesty, however, we are all liars, no matter how hard we try. Because of the pressure from society, we all are forced to make ourselves look and feel satisfactory with the rest of society. I believe my presence will benefit the server in a lot of ways. I communicate easily and in a meaningful and confident manner. I am reliable, dependable, responsible and would dedicate time to the server when possible to fulfil a position as a staff member. I think I would get along with both staff and players easily and would try my very best to help out at all times. I am respectful to others around me and to those in higher positions to me.
They say lying is needed to help keep friends, not lose someone you love, and have better opportunities in your life. In the article “It’s the Truth: Americans Conflicted About Lying” a man named Cohen says, “Not only is lying justified, it is also a moral duty”. People who believe in those things and in other reasons that lying is justified are wrong. To keep friends and someone you love you need to tell the truth by being honest. You also need to be honest in life. Say you applied for a job interview and you lied but you got the job. You applied because its a good job and they pay well. But one day the lie will be discovered and you will end up getting fired. Then next time you apply for a job interview your application might say you’re a liar so you won’t get the job. So you should’ve just told the truth and who knows you might have gotten the job. Telling the truth has more advantages in life than lying. If only the truth is told, it can be used against the everyone. If everyone was completely honest society could not function properly. Honesty is the best policy. It is a virtue that we all must aim for to have a peaceful and serene life. It is a foundation to a healthy relationship dealing with the people in our lives, whether they are our parents, friends or brothers and sisters. Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom. An old proverb says, “Honesty is the best policy,” but I, however, disagree with that saying. First, sometimes we have to lie to prevent hurt feelings, and sometimes when it comes to that situation it is better to lie than to tell the truth. Second, we have to tell a lie to keep others secrets, or to keep our secrets safe. Last, in order to keep customs and traditions alive, we have to lie too little, whether it is about Santa or the Easter bunny. If we lie about that I do not think it is a big deal. I do not think is it right to lie all of the time, but when it comes to certain situations like to prevent hurt feelings, to keep secrets, or about Santa I think it is okay. As can be seen, an old proverb may say that honesty is the best policy, but, again, I disagree with that.

It is a general assumption that everyone has lied. Are these lies all necessarily “bad?” Has there ever been a time that telling a lie has been more helpful than by telling the truth? Immanuel Kant was “a dominant figure in the history of modern philosophy” (Cahn 98). He stated that lying is never justifiable, since it does not give a person he respect that they deserve.
I once believed that lying was the only way out of hurting another person but after lying on many occasions not to get caught got me nowhere. I would lie on numerous times to my boyfriend that when the relationship got serious and committed he couldn’t help but throw my past lies in my face, especially during an argument. So after 2 years I have learned to always be honest regardless of the outcome. And so far it has worked to my favor.
In certain circumstances and situations, I truly believe it is ok to lie. Initially, it is extremely beneficial to lie, rather than hurt the feelings of a loved one. Equally important, if you are trying to protect someone from getting impaired, it is okay to lie in order to keep them safe. Last but not least, exaggerations can help boost people’s self-esteem by making them exceptional.
