In an Australian news clip about Jamie Oliver, a person says, “White milk has vitamin D I don’t know what that other milk has”. What would we think about a government that has banned milk? Is it oppressive or is it cautious? Is it overkill or is it necessary in order to prohibit and contain disease? Skyler Reidy, the author of “The Country that Banned Milk”, has the belief that raw milk is better than pasteurized milk for the consumer and the producer, yet the government says otherwise. In this situation, the government wins. According to laws in twenty different states, “Sale of raw milk for human consumption is prohibited” (Procon). Raw milk, while it has some good qualities, also comes with some bad ones. Sometimes, unpasteurized milk contains a lot of very harmful bacteria including, but not limited to, Salmonella, E. Because it contains essential proteins, carbohydrates, fats, minerals and vitamins, milk is considered one of nature's perfect foods. Unfortunately, throughout the last century milk has been subjected to many forms of modern processing practices, which deprive milk from many of its natural qualities and benefits. Therefore many essential vitamins and enzymes are lost. Processing milk has altered one of nature’s perfect foods and changed it into something nature did not intend. I can honestly say that I will be one of the many people who contribute immensely to those massive quantities. Chocolate has always been one of my guilty pleasures, leading me to consider myself a “chocoholic.” After 20 years of eating chocolate, I learned there is more to chocolate than meets the eye. Many chemicals compose each delicious piece creating multiple psychological effects on the mind. With the knowledge of the chemical and psychological influences that chocolate has on the human mind and body and my own curiosity as to why I love it so much, this led me to ask: Why is chocolate considered such a pleasurable and craveable food?

These statistics show that both computer usage and junk food consumption are a big part of many lives today. Some may say they can’t live without eating sweets, but others may say they couldn’t live without using a computer. While some people may disagree, being banned from sweets for a year instead of computer usage would be the best choice between the two.
Introduction The 58 million pounds of chocolate eaten on chocolate the drenched holiday of Valentines Day is likely made from cocoa beans from West Africa. The Ivory Coast, also known as Cote D'ivoire in Africa is the source of about 35 percent of the world’s cocoa production. These cocoa beans were likely harvested by unpaid child workers that are being held captive on plantations as slaves.
