Have we all gone mentally ill from the sight of watching a horror movie? In the article“ WHY WE CRAVE HORROR MOVIES”, Stephen King believe that horror movies are making a big impact on everyone's emotions and that horror movies can help make us feel normal.Also, it is implied that the impact of horror movies is making see the worst in oneself by watching such horrific scenes. It is stated that most people go to watch horror movies because they want to prove that they are not afraid of it and that they can watch the whole thing without getting scared. Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by someone or something. It is a big part of the ingredients that makes horror movies scary. The thrills from horror movies can be both frightening and also disgusting. Most people who watch horror movies don't like to be frightened by objects or other things, but when it comes to scary movies they want to watch it and engage in the movie. The fear that horror movies show can also be disturbing, but a lot of people enjoy it. they like watching people get chopped up and killed and it doesn't freak them out. To some people watching a scary movie with their friend just to prove that they are not afraid of what is shown in the movie. The fear from horror movies stays in the back of your mind and makes you paranoid. I believe that if kids watch scary movies the may become very paranoid and get nightmares. that, For example, I watched a movie called “Bloody Marie”, in one of the scenes a girl was sleeping and felt something on her. When she woke up her whole body was filled with spiders and they were crawling on her skin. Since I saw the spiders on her skin my body immediately felt itchy. Another example is when I watch scary movies I tend to do it in the dark with no lights on because it makes things scarier and what's a scary movie that isn't scary.
