22 January 2015 Schools are arguably the best resources for teaching children and young adults how to be well-rounded individuals. The teachers influence the student’s lives tremendously and hopefully leave a good impact on the student’s education. From the very first moment the students and teachers meet, they are impacting one another’s lives. Some teachers, whether they are good or bad, affect the student’s lives forever. For this reason individuals should go into the education field with good intentions. Ever since the fifth grade teachers have fascinated me. I have had many teachers who influenced me to explore the education field because of their dedication to their students. On the other hand, I have had teacher influence me because I did not like their teaching styles and wanted to have a better impact on students than they did on me. I have worked in two kindergarten classrooms and have been fascinated by both teachers I have worked with. All of the faculty members at the two schools were very warm and welcoming. This gave me reassurance that becoming an educator is the best choice for me. The students were also a factor in this because there was one boy who struggled with his words and could not read very well. After realizing this, I felt the need to work with this particular child more often. I wanted to be the influence in his life to do well in school. I always reassured him that he would be successful and that I believed he would eventually learn every single word on his flash cards. From these reasons, I believe I have a vocation to become a teacher. If a student is in need, I automatically feel obligated to help them and reassure them if
