The piano lesson is an old movie based off a piano as willie boy and Lymon came into town in a truck with full of watermelons on the back to sell they came to see there old friends and family but all awhile willie boy plans is to sell the piano so that he can buy land from sutter. Bernice is not going for selling the piano at all due to it being something valuable to the family so its becomes a task for him. In addittion now there's a ghost in the house which suppose to be sutter as thw ghost appears around the house and plays the piano. As things get intense with wille boy trying anything in his power to get that piano. Doaker tells him the story of why bernice doesnt want to sell the piano the piano was traded for there great grandmother and grandfather during slavory time and they had the family history craved on it such as important things tooken place such as when sutter took them back with him as now his slaves also when the grandmother got married. Another reason to why bernice doesnt want to is because there father died over it after being killed from taking the piano from sutters home during the forth of july. …show more content…

she doesnt plays the piano nomore due to the hurt she still has and also it brings bad memories to her when se does plays it. willie boy believes the piano is just a piano wht not expad and do something different not knowing how much this piano means but as we all know he's not thinking out it that way or he just dodes not care at all. he tried serval times to get that piano and even seeing how heacvy it is by asking Lymon to help him pick it up to see how heavy it
