Do all revolutions end in favor of the people?

A Revolution is a forcible overthrow of the government or social order in favor of a new system (Oxford Dictionary.com). In simpler terms, to make a change. Leaders or groups who join forces and succeed have a common goal which is, to do just that, make a change. Whether it is to depart from a dictatorship or monarchy, or to create a new social order and political change. Revolutions become successful through similar and different methods which, result in cultural and historical change and influences for future revolutions. For over 300 years a "cruel" monarchy controlled Russia, until the revolution. This turning point for rebellion in Russia, started when Nicholas II entered war with Serbia Allies for no reason. Many citizens felt the war was unnecessary. The war also led to food shortages for the Russian people, which became known as the “bread riots”. A man named Vladimir Lenin become a revolutionary leader in leading the people to a new government. Lenin was from a middle-class family and witnessed his brother executed by orders of the Czar King. While in a labor camp in Siberia, Linen created a new political party, the Bolsheviks. When Lenin returned to Russia in 1917, he witnesses the bread riots and chaos in the streets. He and his political party are then able to unite with the poor and execute the Czar Monarchy. War breaks out between the Bolsheviks and Czar supporters ending millions of casualties due to war and famine. Despite the brutal civil war, the Bolsheviks succeeded and with that success, they create a new government. The new government ha an end to private ownership, farmers shared the land and grew food for the community. Miners owned the mines and shared profits with the community. In 1922, a constitution was established- democratic and socialist ideas, elected legislature called supreme soviets, the right to vote for people eighteen years and older, and all natural resources and means of production belonged to the people (World History Notes). The people became incredibly happy with Lenin’s new ways of government control, they preserved his body and placed him in a museum where the people of Russia can visit him to this day(source). Lenin accomplished his revolution in favor of the people and ended the dictatorship and monarchy of the Czar family.
