The Russian Revolution Made a immense change for the best for its people. The Everyday sadness of the people of Russia grew as the rich got richer and the poor got poorer. With World war l taking place and Russia being involved many Russians were being killed by the Germans. Millions of casualties and starvation all across Russia caused the Russian people to become frus-trated. Under the control of Czar Nicholas II the people were hoping for a change. Russian be-came furious wanting Nicholas out blaming him for what was going on in their country without getting assistance by their ruler. Nicholas was considered a selfish ruler with no love for his very own people. Nicholas was forced to give up his throne by a strike that broke out in Petrograd on March 1917(Kindersley). After Nicholas getting forced out of his throne a party called The Mensheviks formed a govern-ment made up of revolutionary’s but failed. The Bolsheviks came right after seeking to enforce Marxism and gain power. The Czar Family were arrested and all killed after a year, The Bolsheviks a more intense revolutionary group took over. This party was lead by Vladi-mir Lenin who believed in the ideas of Karl Marx and Marxism (Stock). Lenin’s First step was to sign a peace treaty with Germany to pull Russian troops out of the war. The Bolshevik govern-ment was a dictatorship. Lenin had revolutionary antecedents His older brother, Alexander was plotting to murder Tsar Alexander and was executed leaving Lenin with hate toward the royal (Lerner). Lenin created the very first Communist state and declared Russia a Soviet republic. There were more people getting involved in this revolution, inspired by the Bolsheviks and Len-in’s over all ideas for Russia. The government pro-vided for its people but individuality and owning anything was not possible especially if you want to get ahead. There’s ups and downs to the Bolsheviks beliefs but it was all created to make a change from the conditions of that time period. The Bolsheviks believed that Marxism was the solution to all of Russia’s problems to better the country and the world. Thanks to Lenin and the Bolsheviks progressed in every aspect. The Russian revolution was a motivation for other countries with similar conflicts. It improved the quality of life of the people and changed Russia along with other countries that followed all for the best. The Bolsheviks turned hard times for everyone in Russia into hope for The Russian peo-ple and any other country. The Russian Revolution worked out as a inspiring event that happened in history.
