One of the topics we have discussed in class if people should be allowed to sell their organs. On the agree side, people said that people are in charge of their own body. If they are need the money and they wish to part with an organ, they should be able to. The person is in control of their body and can do whatever they wish for. This can help people pay for their family and take care of the ones they love. Another person said that it gives them the opportunity to help someone who is need of money, a chance to get some. The people on the disagree side had a complete opposite opinon. One person said that they disagreed because it would provide a person with an unequal advantage to receive an organ because they contain the necessary funds to obtain one. Also, many felt that for a person to give an organ, it should be given without providing a money incentive. This is because many believed that giving away an organ should be done out of the goodness of someone's heart and not an opportunity to cash out on a good deed. Also, other students discussed that it is placing a person at harms risk to make some money and that there are other ways for a person to make an income. …show more content…

An example of that opinon is that they understand that a person is control of their own body, but there must be a better way to make an income. Also, some students suggested to sell their organs to a relative, so that they can help someone they know and be able to make some of the money they need. Another example of someone in the middle discussed if a person is allowed to donate an organ, they should have to pay for an organ if the become in need of one.
