World War II was the most terrible war in the world. It began in 1939 and ended in 1945. There were about 60 countries involved in the war, and the war cost about five trillion. The whole world suffered a heavy blow from this war. The war was led by Germany, owing to lots of unfair treaties after World War I, Germany tried to regain their rights and then started the Second World War. Japan also joined in World War II as the Axis, and I have three reasons why Japan entered World War II, Japan wanted to control China and improve its power; Japan wanted to get more resource though start a fight; Japan wanted to make more enemy and cheered citizens up to join the fight.
The first reason why Japan entered World War II is because Japan wanted to control China and improve its power. Japan has audacious ambition and tried to rule the world. It is important and the main reason why Japan entered World War II. Actually Japan had already attacked northeastern China in 1931 and killed thousands of Chinese. In 1937 Japan invaded China. They wanted to dominate all of Southeast Asia. They joined the Axis alliance with Germany and Italy in 1940 by signing the Tripartite Pact. Also, these grievances, aggravating as they were, did not make war with China, still less with the United States, a realistic choice for Japan. China had a population in 1937 seven times larger than Japan’s, and in 1937-41, the US GNP was five times greater, and its manufacturing output nine times greater, than Japan’s.
