Who to Blame for the Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet
Many people played a part in the tragedy but perhaps the blame must be
laid on the two families who kept the feud active to serve their
needs. Only by the Montague and Capulet families losing their precious
children their own dynasty, which they begin to recognize the trouble
they caused others in the feud. Was this tragedy for the two families?
Well yes because in the end only by them losing their children did
they resolve to end the feud and cobble together. Even though Romeo
and Juliet’s lives were ruined, which means they couldn’t be together
in life maybe death was more preferable. The deaths of both Romeo and
Juliet were needless, because they were not the ones fighting and
disagreeing it was both the Montague and Capulet families but the
children ended up suffering from their families mistakes. Even though
Romeo and Juliet kept out of the fighting their lives where still made
miserable.
Romeo is a young teenager and is a member of the Montague family. Is
unfortunately in love with Juliet who is a Capulet. Both inmates of
house collectively are rancorous enemies. Romeo Knew that if the
households would arrange their marriage Romeo and Juliet would never
end up getting married. Romeo’s judgement of not informing his
household wasn’t erroneous at all. I would actually say that Romeo is
scared of how his family would react when they see their son being in
love with their enemies. I think the biggest blunder Romeo done was
killing Tybalt, which lead to his adjournment. Albeit that killing
Tybalt, was erroneous I even though would suppose that you can’t
accusation him because Tybalt was still resolute to fight:
“Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries.”
This shows me that Tybalt was resolute get vengeance of the argument.
Romeo’s characteristic shows that he is brave to take countless risks
in his life. In the terrace scene when Romeo goes to congregate Juliet
he risks of getting wedged by the Nurse.
However, the reality was that the relationship was condemned before it had even begun due to the parent's hatred for one another. Romeo knew the two families didn't get on, so he should have also known that the relationship was ill-fated. Yet he still persisted in promoting the relationship. Surely he could have controlled his urges and stayed in the bushes in front of Juliet's balcony on the night of the Capulet party. On the other hand, love is often considered an impulsive thing, and Romeo being an impulsive person only made the matter worse.
The feud meant that they had to keep their relationship under wraps and tip-toe around their families. The ancient grudge between the two families meant that if one member of either family found out about Romeo and Juliet then they would be killed, ‘If they do see thee, they will murder thee.’ The family feud between the Montague and Capulet families could also be held responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because they both grew up with people dieing within the families because of the grudge. For instance Mercutio and Tybalt, Mercutio was a very loyal friend of Romeo’s and Tybalt was Juliet’s cousin. The deaths of these characters meant that Romeo and Juliet were both distressed and unhappy, and thus could have given more reason to their own deaths, ‘ A’ Thursday let it be, a’ Thursday, tell her,

In William Shakespeare's play, The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, Friar Lawrence gives Juliet a fake poison and when she takes it, she goes into a deep sleep that makes her appear dead. Juliet is then buried in her family's tomb and when Romeo goes to the tomb, he drinks actual poison and kills himself because he cannot bear to be without Juliet.
An ancient grudge and parents too blinded by hatred to break it, bear the ultimate blame for the tragic death of Romeo and Juliet. Friar Laurence was just attempting to mend the rift between two households. Nurse desired to make Juliet happy. The parents were selfish and could not get over their enmity with each other, and their children suffered the repercussing consequences. Bombarded by the indecision of all, Romeo and Juliet were free-spirited, love-struck, and young. Sadly it was their deaths, not love or marriage that finally brought the two houses together and Verona peace.
Romeo and Juliet is a tragic story about a pair of star-crossed lovers whose demises were unexpected to most. However, their deaths were a result of their impulsiveness. It caused their problematic marriage, Romeo’s preventable death, as well as Juliet’s preventable death.
In the story “ The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet “ the main characters get themselves in a pickle by falling in love knowing that their families are sworn enemies. Soon Romeo kills Juliet's cousin by accident, Juliet drinks a potion, some words get twisted and at the end both of the lovebirds end up dead. At the end of the story both families are devastated that both of their children pass away, but there are also many unanswered questions. The most asked question in the story is “ Who's to blame? ” and overall I believe everyone has a little part in influencing their death, but I believe that one person is to blame for most of this and I believe that it is the mother and father of Juliet.

This causes many fights and people dying, including themselves. There are many characters to blame for all of these deaths. Benvolio is the cause of all these deaths because he convinced Romeo on going to the Capulet party, Benvolio gave up on finding Romeo when he disappeared after the Capulet party, and Benvolio didn’t defend Mercutio when he fought with Tybalt.
