Bacon's Rebellion was a rebellion in 1676 - 1677 against American Indians and the colonial government in the Virginia Colony. It led by Nathaniel Bacon against the rule of Governor Sir William Berkeley. Bacon Rebellion took place due to land needs of impoverished white landowners and aspiring tenants. Nathaniel Bacon was the agreement and protection of the Indians in their land. Bacon favored the Bacon plan because he wanted Berkeley’s too ruined leadership to come to an end.
