Movie Review
We have lived exclusive of technology for a long time. But in today's world we have become so dependent on it that we can't live without it for a day. We’re too dependent on technology to make plans and keep in contact, And this is drawing us away from each other making us to have less face-to-face communication and more over text. We are misusing technology for our own benefits. Eventually this is going to catch up with our society for the worse. Where In both movies “Wall-e”, and “Idiocracy” it is clearly shown that how future people are dependent on technology and how this has affected them negatively. In the movie Wall-E humans have destroyed the planet due to their lack of care for the environment and then are regrettably forced into living in space on a ship called the Axiom, And on the ship people are on a flying chair where there is a screen and they are talking to …show more content…

One instance is when joe goes to the hospital because he has been sick due to long hibernation and ask for help in the hospital, he is taken to the doctor’s room for diagnose however, it was not the doctor looking at him it was a normal machine asking random questions and giving fault diagnosis and the doctor simply accepts what the machine has to say, And this clearly shows how people have become dumb and so reliable on robots. Another scene from the movie where we can see that technology has taken a big part our lives was when Joe went to the machine to get his tattoo and when the robot asked for his name he said his name but the robot ignored what he has said and basically gave him the name “Not Sure” even though Joe argued that that was not his name and the guards next to him simply did nothing to stop the robot to give him that name. This clearly shows that how people that time has become so dumb that they also left the thinking part for the robots to do for
