Eyewitnesses do not know what exactly they have seen. In most cases they cannot identify the object on the sky and call it UFO. It was proved that many such false “witnesses” see nothing but a plane or a planet on the sky. All of us know that UFO means, but we tend to forget that all that means is that the observers do not understand what they are looking at. The scientists explain that atmospheric phenomena like sun dogs, storm phenomena like ball lightning and stratospheric discharge, astronomical phenomena like auroras, meteorite storms and bolloids are all things that many of common people are not familiar with.
There is an excessive amount of information which could lead one to assume that UFOs are fiction, yet there is also an abundant amount of evidence which suggests that UFOs are in fact out there. What, and who, are we to believe? I. On September 1, 1859, Richard Carrington, a renowned astronomer of his time, saw two luminous bodies that he said were not meteors flying through the air (Lore 53). Nine years later at Radcliffe Observatory in Oxford, many astronomers witnessed a luminous object that moved quickly across the sky, stopped, changed course to the west, then to the south, where it hovered for four minutes.
The debate continues in present day because there are still no answers to the many sightings that have occurred since. UFO’s are real because the government is hiding their existence, the USA and Europe is a major sight for UFO sightings, wreckage, and also abductions, many movies, books, and radio hearings have been seen and heard world wide. Many UFO’s have been seen through the country and the whole world. The size of the UFO’s seen can vary from eyewitness to eyewitness. Some say that the ships are very large and striking.
Hollar1 Mrs. Ledbetter English I 13 December 2013 The Mysteries of Area 51 Area 51 has been the center of controversy for many years. Its existence was denied by the government , but it cannot be explained why 200 or more jeeps patrol a nonexistent area. Many factors contribute to the mystery of the place known as area 51. Aliens and aircrafts are two main theories that encompass the mystery of area 51. Area 51 is the unofficial name for the United States military installation popular for UFO folklore.
There is no evidence for this speculation, so it is just a thought. Since 1947 there have been UFO sightings in almost every country. Sometimes there is something called a UFO wave, which for a short time UFO sighting increase rapidly in one certain area. Nobody can explain ANYTHING about these waves. Attempts to link them with hysteria, mentality and stress have all failed.
Mystery Surrounding the Phoenix Lights: Evidence of UFO Sighting? Abstract The events that occurred in Phoenix on March 13, 1997 still have the world at a loss. A triangle (boomerang) shaped craft with seven lights on the main body and one trailing behind the rest appeared over Phoenix. Some believe that they were just flares used by the military, but others think that it was definitely extraterrestrial. Much evidence has been found, but the mystery remains.
Sightings are not distinct to just one area like Arizona or New Mexico; there are sightings all over the world. People have reported sightings of UFOs endlessly, so much in fact there are websites for daily sightings on the World Wide Web. “The very notion that we’ve been visited by intelligent life forms from another world is, along the myths of Norse Gods and witchcraft, consigned to Hollywood films and teen fan fiction” (Parisien) Astronauts have continuously reported unidentified objects while orbiting the planet. Viktor Afanasyev, a soviet cosmonaut reported an unidentified object following his spacecraft. “We observed it on the light side, and when we entered the shadow side, it disappeared.” (Afanasyev) He was debriefed and told to never talk about his sightings.
The Effects of UFO's on People Almost every civilization in history that has kept a written history has recorded the sightings of strange objects and lights in the skies. These objects have been described as glowing wheels, colored balls of light, and disk shaped objects. Today unexplained aerial phenomena are generally referred to as unidentified flying objects (UFO's) or flying saucers. The effects of extra terrestrial sightings can have an adverse effect on people if influenced the wrong way. No solid proof has shown that UFO's are real, but many sightings cannot be proven otherwise.
But in a universe so incomprehensibly large that we no not even a boundary, I sincerely doubt that the human race is the only form of life. It seems certain scientists have come up with other hypotheses concerning UFO's. While all astronomers yearn for a concrete explanation on UFO's, their beliefs on their origin contrast. Many looking for a more scientific definition disregard UFO's as nothing more than a mere misinterpretation of a plane, weather balloon, or meteor. Some have gone so far as to say that specific witnesses to UFO's have seen nothing more than a hallucination and "wanted" to see a UFO so their minds adapted that idea into an illusion to satisfy the urge.
For many years, the question of extraterrestrial visitation is one that has puzzled everyone from the media crazed public to the most ingenious scientists. An excerpt from the 1996 summer's sci-fi thriller, Independence Day , reflects how some of the public feel about the validity behind extraterrestrial visitation: PRESIDENT. Sir, regardless of what you might have read in the tabloids there have never been any spacecrafts recovered by your government. Take my word for it. There is no Area 51.
