Presidential Plans for U.S. Well-being and Immigration

As the President of the Unites States, I plan to change many things about our country to help improve the well-being for each and every U.S. citizen. I plan to do such things by passing certain laws and help assembly awareness for topics that have a severe negative impact on our country. I believe that I can improve the wellbeing of our country. IMMIGRATION In our country, we are experiencing many immigrants coming to the United States, with over 1.3 million people just in this year. These people essentially come pursuing more economic opportunities or religious freedoms. Construction workers are roughly paid $1185.60 annually (www.skagitcounty.net). Blacksmiths are paid about $456.25 on average each year (www.osv.org). Also, manufacturers are paid around $708.10 every year. But, in 2016, the average American is paid much more and work less hours as well. Their common jobs consist of retail salesperson ($25,760 annually), waiter/waitress (paying $20,710 each year), and registered nurse ($44,343 every year) (www.ranker.com). I would change this situation by making a law cutting back the amount of hours a person is permitted to work, and create a minimum wage. HEALTH ISSUES The main issues in health that we experience today are poor hygiene and sanitation, poor nutrition, poor maternal and infant health, as well as diseases/injuries due to unsafe working conditions (www.cdc.gov). The problems that 2016 is dealing with consists of poor nutrition, tobacco/substance abuse, overweight/obesity, and mental health issues (https://urmc.rodester.edu). Both our time and 2016 face similar issues, with nutrition and injury. I would put an end to our problems by raising awareness for these types of issues and ways to improve each one in order to improve life quality for each
