Let us talk politics, a subject matter that many avoid due to some find it to be complicated, unfair and most of all dirty. Nevertheless, some will agree that some unfairness is necessary to get what you want, which is a success in a winning campaign, rather it is to become secretary of state or president. Meanwhile, we will be discussing the dirtiest presidential campaign during the 1800's. Also, the topics we will be going over are the political developments that took place during the Jefferson administration. We will also talk about international events that impact the United States during the Jefferson and Madison administration. This essay will also cover the primary causes of the American decision to declare war on Great Britain in 1812. Lastly, we will discuss the important outcome of the war of 1812 on the United States. Therefore, proving that History continues to repeat itself.
