One of the most famous artists of the 60s known for his installation arts is known by many people throughout the world as – Walter De Maria. Born and raised in the United States, he was gifted with both the talent of music and art. He was born after the modernism period, which, for him was a big advantage since his timeline was filled with ideas and creations of other great artists and musicians. His way of practice is connected with Minimal art, Conceptual art, and Land art of the 1960s. His artworks are exhibited in several places in the United States. One of the most fascinating places I have been to is in Dia Beacon, located in the north eastern part of New York State. The first room in the gallery displays one of his mesmerizing artwork.
