The theme in “Viva La Vida” by a coldplay is no matter what place you are on in The Wheel of Fortune, have fate. In this lyrical poem, the narrator did not have enough fate and wounded up in a sad position on The Wheel of Fortune in such a short period of time. “Viva La Vida” has 11 stanzas with 4 lines each. Stanzas 9 and 11, and same with 4, 8, and 10 have repetition. The poem also has imagery, metaphors, and alliteration. I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing/ Roman Cavalry choirs are singing is an example of sound imagery.
