Children Should Not Be Exposed to Violence in Media
Whether or not children should be exposed to violence in media has been an ongoing debate between psychologists, pediatricians and parents. Gerard Jones, a comic book author for Marvel Comics, composed a very well thought out article titled “Violent Media Is Good for Kids”. Although the article was supported with strong statements and opinions, I do not agree with his argument. Violence in media has been proven to have a negative impact on children due to the violence that is taken place and how the children handle it.
