The vietnam war memorial was constructed for a very noble purpose. The Vietnam war memorial is significant and an historic reminder of how many men were lost and how the vietnam war was a dividing point in american history.
The amount of division in the United States during the vietnam war is astonishing as it symbolizes a country set at odds. Since the vietnam war caused a large amount of division between citizens it also stirred up controversy.
