A great career is to be a Veterinarian. Growing up with animals has impacted the future. Deciding this profession has been great. A veterinarian helps animals feel better. They also take blood and they do surgery procedures. Some of the personal characteristic is that you have to be nice and calm to your clients. Also, you need to have a good relationship with animals. I think this job will be interesting for me because I love animals and I've grown up with them my whole life and I just feel like I have a connection with them. The training you have to have is at least an Associate's degree. A specific school that you can go to is Ivy Tech. That is where I will be going for my first two years of college. Then for my next two years I plan to go to Iupui University. The major’s I will mostly be taking is Biology and General science. My schooling will take four years. The salary for a Vet is $84,460 dollars. The job market for my job will be high and growing strong. There are some jobs around here. When I get out of college I hope to start work Best Friends Animal Healthcare & Laser Center in Columbus. The dress code is scrubs. Vets work about 43 hours per week. Benefits include vacation, sick days etc. This profession will be a great opportunity. It may be a hard job but it will be worth it. Their will be a lot of future demand. It will grow strongly.
