When she was little she could only dream of becoming a veterinarian. Now she is fulfilling her dreams as a Veterinary Technician. "Choose a job you love and you will never work a day in your life”(Henry Hernandez). Being a Veterinary Tech is really a lot of fun as long as you are passionate love with animals. One reason to become a Veterinary Tech is because they get to meet new animals and take care of them too. This career is very important because the well-being of animals is just as important as the well-being of humans(Vet Tech Guide). Animals need to be thought of humans just in a different shape. Loving, respecting, and comforting animals is just a small part in the career of a Veterinary Technician; being detail oriented, strong, and being educated are also very important qualities for a veterinary technician to have.

“The most successful Veterinary Technicians are passionate about the animals that they see on a daily basis and be able to control their emotions” (Career Cruising). The care of animals is very important so they don’t feel threatened by the Veterinary Technician and claw, bite, or growl at them. Veterinary Technicians must show their love of animals to the patients and their owners. many animals will feel the emotions that people give off and the animal can react to that emotion in a good or in a bad case bad. A Vet Technicians job is to be calm and not show emotions to the patient and family so the family won’t have emotional distress towards the clinic.

The duties and responsibilities a Veterinary Technician has to be able to work any day at any time just like a paramedic. Also a Vet Technician has to keep animals happy while in treatment at the clinic. “On any given day that I am in surgery I wil...

Animals can be very nervous and not be cooperative when trying to do something the animals do not like. Being a Veterinary Tech is very hard and takes a lot of skill but if you love animals it is worth the effort.
